School's Achievement Since Mr. F.A.Lawal Took Over The Leadership In 2011

Since he became the Principal of the Lagos State Junior Model College on July 15th,2011, Mr. F. A. Lawal has continued achieving success just as Alhaja Sidikat Titilayo Smith, his predecessor, did during her time.

The following awards have been won by the school since 2011 when Mr. Lawal became the Principal:

1st Position - Best Principal at the 2011  Merit Award of Education District III.

1st Position - Best Vice Principal at the 2011 Eduction District III Merit Award.

1st Position - Best Junior Secondary School at the 2011 Eduction District III Merit Award.

1st Position-2011 Festival of Arts and Culture (Story Telling) organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Education.

2nd Position in the 2011 Quiz Competition organized by the Ministry of Environment to mark the 2nd Anniversary of Climate Change Clubs in Lagos State.

1st and 2nd Positions in the 2011 Student Parliamentary Council in Eti-Osa Local Government Area.

3rd Position- 2011 Quiz Competition organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Environment.

2nd Position-Project Exhibition in the Junior Secondary School category at the 2011 LASSTECH WEEK organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Science and Technology.

Representation at the 4th Students Parliamentary Council, representing Eti-Osa Constituency I and II.

1st Position - 2012 Best Teacher Award by the Federal Ministry of Education at the 2012 World Teachers' Day

Winners of the President's  Teacher and School's Excellence Award at the Federal Ministry of Education 2012 World Teachers' Day.

1st Position- 2012 Essay Competition organized by the Nigeria Conservation Foundation.

1st Position- Agriculture Debate on the topic "Egg Is Good For All Ages" organized by the Poultry Association of Nigeria in 2012.

Recognition by the Nigeria Conservation Foundation for participating in the 2012 World Environmental Day Competition.

1st Position- Best Teacher (Junior School Category) Education District III. 

2nd Position- Non- Teaching Staff (Junior School Category) Education District III. 

3rd Position-Best Student (Junior School Category) Education District III.

2nd Position- Award in Cartoon Competition at the 2013 Teenage Festival of Life organized by the Action Health Incorporated and National Centre for Energy Efficiency and Conservation.

3rd Position- Flora and Fauna Fancy Dress Competition (8- 11 years Category) organized by Nigeria Conservation Foundation to mark the 2013 World Environment Day Celebration.

2nd Position - Festival of Choral and Classical Music (Junior Secondary School Category).
